Another selection of five great marketing blogs! This week there’s a post on Pinterest’s new features (some are pretty neat), a fun post with 50 tweetable social media tips that might even teach you a thing or two, tips for giving a great conference presentation and more. As you may know, we scour blogs each week to find five we think are worth sharing. So we’d love to hear about any blogs YOU find valuable that we could add to our list. Maybe it’s even yours! This week’s posts will keep you busy! I found a bunch that have some fantastic and practical advice you can use to move your business forward – and you don’t even need a big budget or a complicated plan to do it. You can find your ideal client, come up with a great blog title, create compelling content – all with a bit of thought and effort and great tips from some great marketers. There’s a lament about Google’s recent algorithm update (with a “what now”) and a fortuitous post about Impostor Syndrome which ties in perfectly with last week’s carnival theme. Roll up your sleeves for this roundup!

I’m excited to share this week’s posts with you because there’s some great diversity and a couple that complement each other quite nicely. There’s a Google Plus guide (a “definitive” guide that lives up to its title), some important info about marketing strategy and a wonderfully inspirational post about personal branding that encourages us to think about being a person instead of a brand. There’s a great post on how to engage people using Google Plus, and speaking of Google, a neat infographic that explains the mystery of Page Rank. There’s a post that really spoke to me about recognizing fake and spammy guest post requests. We’ve even got a bit about social media and the law that has some really good reminders about how things can come back to haunt us, sometimes in very serious ways.
